July 14th

Thank you very much for all the nice, supportive comments as we faced the 10th anniversary of Andrew’s passing on July 14th.  It was so hard!  In some ways, it feels like we were in the hospital just 6 months ago.  In other ways, it feels like an eternity since I hugged my boy.  Yes, 10 years gives you plenty of days to live through and learn to cope, but the pain & heartbreak of missing your son and brother is still so fresh and, I suspect, always will be.

What Can You Do?

Tara McCutchen is a young lady in Texas who, unfortunately like Ali, also knows what it is like to lose her brother.  In honor of her brother, Chas, she’s raising money for The B+ Foundation by shaving her head.  Thank you, Tara, for thinking so selflessly about others.  Please consider supporting Tara or come up with your own event to raise awareness and money for the fight against childhood cancers.  We can provide you with your own personalized, fundraising page with all of the money going to The B+ Foundation.  Thanks, Tara!

Reba

Keeping with the Texas theme (I know she’s from Oklahoma, but she lives in Texas :), we would like to thank music superstar, Reba McEntire, for her very generous support of The Andrew McDonough B+ Foundation.

11th Annual B+ Foundation Golf Outing, Dinner, & Auction – 9/25/17

“Join” us on Sept. 25th for the 11th Annual B+ Foundation Golf Outing, Dinner, & Auction at the DuPont Country Club in Wilmington, DE.  If you’re not local and want to help, please consider a sponsorship or an auction package donation for our Silent Auction…or better yet, organize a B+ Golf Outing in your hometown.  Please contact Joe@LiveLikeAndrew.org if you would like to help.  To register for golf or dinner, all you need to do is click here.  There will also be a lot of great auction packages.  In the past, we had a cool fishing experience donated by B+ supporters, Mike Nolan & Capt. Greg.  The winning bidders got a chance to spend the day on the “Fishin Frenzy”, the same boat that has won multiple seasons of competition on the TV show “Wicked Tuna”. MAKE it a great week!

Live Like Andrew.
