Update on B+ License Plate

I appreciate everyone’s patience with us.  As previously reported, we need 200 completed applications before Delaware DMV will begin production of our license plate.  Believe me, I thought this would have been wrapped up months ago.  We got several dozen applications at our B+ 5k in June that were missing VIN or registration numbers.  If you’re in that group, please contact Jeffrey@BePositive.org.

I’m REALLY hoping that, in observance of National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month in September, we can get the remaining 50 or so within the next month.

Please click HERE if you’d like to put a B+ Conquer Childhood Cancer license plate on your Delaware car or CARS!  Thanks.

Thank You, B+ Hero Alexis

The other day, I received a package from Hawaii and I was absolutely floored.  In addition to sending a really nice thank you note with a beautiful picture of herself, B+ Hero Alexis also sent a package of “treats of Aloha from Hawaii”.  Wow!  Totally unnecessary, but so thoughtful…and delicious.  Alexis is a 16 year old girl battling leukemia.  Thank you, Alexis, for the nice note about Andrew, too.

It’s Lemonade Season

Thank you, 9 year olds Carrie and Libby from Hockessin, DE, for raising money as you said “to help kids with cancer”.  In addition to the $17.05, as your picture shows, you’re spreading awareness.  You girls rock!!!

Back to School

Seeing all of the “Back to School” photos on Facebook brings back good memories.  As much as kids might hate it, this rite of passage is a ‘must do’ for posterity.  The picture below shows Ali and Andrew heading off to Day 1 of 7th and 5th grades, respectively.  Got to love Andrew’s goofy expression.
