2024 NYC Marathon

Meet B+ Hero Aguilar

I think his smile says it all! I thought this would be a great start-of-the-week picture!

B+ Hero Emma

So many parents lose their jobs when their child is in treatment. Thank you, B+ Nation, for being their safety net…and for showing them that someone cares about them.

“Thank you so much for your generous donation! I am very thankful for this wonderful foundation! I am a single mom of 4 trying to keep everything afloat. My daughter was diagnosed with an optic pathway glioma brain tumor and hydrocephalus in September 2020, which turned our lives upside down. I was fired from my job during that time, which also took a heavy toll on trying to support my family. Doctors and hospital visits can be overwhelming and exhausting. Having the support from family and foundations like BePositive really takes the load off our shoulders. Thank you again and God Bless!”

2024 New York City Marathon

If you ever saw me run, you would know that I’m not a runner. :) That’s not self-deprecating humor, that’s just the truth. I’m the slowest runner in the world. I’ve run some 5ks and I ran the Disney Half-Marathon with Ali, but I never experienced that “runner’s high” that people talk about. I was hoping that I would…didn’t happen.

Well, notwithstanding, I am going to run the 26.2 mile 2024 New York City Marathon with The B+ Running Team! God has blessed me with the ability to use my legs, so I’m going to put them to good use. It will be a lot of painful training, but I’m determined to do it….for Andrew and all of the kids fighting childhood cancers. Andrew went through much worse than this…this is the least I can do to honor him.

Everyone on The B+ Running Team has a fundraising goal of $3,750. Please consider making a donation - any amount is appreciated - to help me reach my goal. To support my efforts, please click here. Thank you very much!
