Ali Honored at NASCAR Race

After leaving Long Island after the B+ Marathon experience, we headed to Dover, DE where Ali was honored at the NASCAR race on Sunday.  Our day started at 7am and we got home at 10:00pm.  It was a long day, but a great day.  NASCAR lined up a lot of exciting things for Ali to do at the track.  NASCAR driver Joey Logano presented Ali with a commemorative jacket, Ali ws introduced at the drivers meeting, we met Eagles legend & Andrew’s favorite player,Brian Dawkins, met Casey Mears, Ali was introduced to the crowd of 80,000 during the driver introductions, Mike Helton, Pres. of NASCAR invited Ali up to Race Control to see the command center, Ali was interviewed on Sirius radio, and she watched the start of the race from Joey Logano’s pit box.  It was busy, exciting, and all so well-organized by NASCAR.  Thank you so much to Shelly Biby, our host for the day!  NASCAR has given us such an amazing platform to generate awareness of childhood cancers.

Please do these two things right now:

  1. Put a recurring reminder on your calendar to vote for Ali at www.nascar.com/award . You can vote each and every day from now until Nov. 29th.

  2. Spread the word to all your friends. We need this to go viral.

Please take a minute each day to help us help the families.  Thanks!
