All Kinds of Good Stuff!

18th Annual B+ Golf Outing, Dinner & Auction

While it’s hard for me to believe that this was our 18th golf outing, it was…and it was very successful. We raised a record amount of money…over $110,000! Thank you to all of our sponsors, golfers, dinner guests, and auction winners. We will be able to help roughly 100 deserving families of kids with cancer. We will lessen their financial burden so that they can focus on what is truly most important…the life or death battle of their child.

Dr. Peter Adamson Young Investigator Award Presented by The Andrew McDonough B+ Foundation

At the Children’s Oncology Group’s (COG) National Meeting in New Orleans, Dr. Emily Blauel of Children’s Hospital of Colorado received the Dr. Peter Adamson Young Investigator Award. This is a prestigious award presented by The B+ Foundation and selected by the leadership of the COG. Pictured below with me is Dr. Blauel and Dr. Doug Hawkins, the Chair of the COG. Dr. Peter Adamson was the previous distinguished chair of the COG. Peter has taught me that it is essential to develop extensive bench strength for childhood cancer research. Congratulations Dr. Blauel!

“I want to thank you and The ANDREW McDONOUGH B+ FOUNDATION

For what you have done for our family, thank you is not enough. We’re going through a rough patch right now and this has been a great help. When I think about buying my groceries on credit. Your generosity has been a lifesaver. Darren is 15 and has been dealing with this AML LEUKEMIA for 8 years now. It’s been a real struggle and it’s refreshing to know there are people like you that help make a difference.”
