Happy Birthday Savannah Pauley!!!! www.caringbridge.org/visit/savannahpauley1

A week or two ago, I asked for good wishes for a friend, Jimmy Albanese, who is recovering from major surgery. I am so proud and appreciative to report that Jimmy was bombarded by your good wishes. They had a stack of e-cards delivered every day for a couple of days. It really picked up Jimmy’s and the family’s spirit. You guys are the best!

As many of you know, we dedicated a tree last year (”Andrew’s Tree”) at Andrew’s grade school, St. Mary Magdalen. I got very emotional yesterday when I walked by the tree and saw all of the decorations. My sister has dressed it up each month and now other anonymous friends are getting in the act as well. Yesterday, there was a beautiful handmade palm cross with a ribbon that said “Buddy” on it. There were also Easter eggs tied to the branches as well as a beautiful butterfly ornament for Ali. It really means a lot to us that this memorial to my son, Andrew’s Tree, means something to so many people. Thank you SO much!!!

I was honored to speak at the University of Delaware again tonight. I keep boring these guys and they keep inviting me back!!!

If anyone would like to volunteer to help us at UDance, the Univ. of DE 12 hour dance marathon to benefit our Foundation and the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, please let me know. We will be selling B+ gear as well as registering college students for the bone marrow registry. We would appreciate as few or as many hours as you can give us. The event runs from 11am-11pm on Sunday April 26th at the UD Field House in Newark.

Live Like Andrew and all of our “Heroes” — look on the bright side. If these young children fighting cancer can have such an incredibly positive attitude, why can’t we all?

P.S. Thank you very much for all the nice comments about Ali’s kind gesture for Locks of Love.
