“Audrey’s Children” Opens Friday!

The Andrew McDonough B+ Foundation is a proud partner of “Audrey’s Children”, a truly remarkable movie. The movie stars Natalie Dormer (Hunger Games, Game of Thrones) as Dr. Audrey Evans, the first female hematology/oncology Chief at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.  She is also the co-founder of the Ronald McDonald House and the co-creator of a staging system of a type of childhood cancer called Neuroblastoma.  Her staging system has literally saved thousands of lives. I had an opportunity to be on the set back in the fall of 2022 and I even arranged for B+ Hero Zoe to be an extra. Sadly, Dr. Evans died two weeks before filming was completed.

This is not a documentary, but a ‘real’ motion picture with many very accomplished actors. I’m biased, but it’s an amazing movie. It won an award at the Tribeca X Film Festival in NYC.  Click on the link below for the trailer.

“Audrey’s Children” opens this Friday, March 28th in about 250 theaters across the country. Please try to find a theater this weekend and help us have a great opening weekend. The movie will eventually be available via streaming, but it’s so much more impressive on the big screen.

Can’t wait to hear your feedback.
