Well, we had our big day at the University of Delaware today. Ali is all moved in! Her room looks great; her roommate, Emily, seems like a really nice girl and I think this is going to be a great chapter in Ali’s life. It’s good for her. Ali, I’m SO proud of you!

While I usually write about the valiant battles that children are facing, you may recall that I have also shared a little with you about my brother-in-law’s journey. My brother-in-law, Dan Crawford, ‘won’ the battle against lymphoma four years ago, only to learn now that one of the chemo drugs has caused a much worse health situation now. Dan has been in and out of the ICU and is currently in an oncology unit at Penn. There have been some very close calls, but Dan is continuing to fight with just amazing resolve. As I’ve said in the past, when I ask Dan how he’s feeling, his answer is always “can’t complain”. If you only knew what he was going through, you would be AMAZED that his answer is “can’t complain”. Dan, YOU deserve a “B+ Award” for exemplifying the B+ spirit. Andrew is so proud of you…as we all are! Dan is at a point now where he can receive mail, so if anyone wants to reach out to Dan to pump up his spirits, it would be much appreciated. Thank you!
