Fri. May 13th
Congratulations to B+ Racing drivers Al Carter and Hugh Plumb! Al won the pole position (1st place) in qualifying today at Virginia International Raceway. Gentlemen, good luck tomorrow for a fast and safe ride. BTW, Al and Hugh visited children at Duke Children’s Hospital on Wed. They put smiles on a lot of kids’ faces by delivering the new B+ poster and signing autograph cards. Wish I could have been there to see the smiles.

“Featured Family of the Week”
Angelica is a 15 month old little girl with retinoblastoma in both eyes. She is one of 5 children in a family with an annual household income of $16,600. Mom and Dad were keeping up with the bills until an unexpected car repair set them back. They need to get the car fixed to get Dad to his job and Angelica to her medical appointments. Unfortunately, this resulted in the family not having money to pay their rent. I remember very clearly how terrible it was when Andrew lost his eyesight. Please pray for this little girl as she battles the malignancies in both eyes. And, yes, we of course reached out today and helped this by sending them a check so that they can pay their rent. Thanks to you!
