Important Research Opportunity!
To Families of Kids with Cancer,
You have a unique opportunity to further the learning on a subject that we think is often overlooked — the impact of childhood cancer on the siblings of the child diagnosed with cancer.
Cortney Rieck, a doctoral student in clinical psychology, has asked us to introduce her study to you. If you have a child that meets the criteria below, we hope you will help not only Cortney in her research, but also the many families that can benefit from the actions that could come out of this research.
We often say that when a child gets cancer, the whole family gets cancer. We know what it’s like to lose a child to cancer and while we see the pain on Ali’s face and worry about the impact on her, we can’t truly know what she’s going through.
We're hopeful that much will be learned from Cortney’s research and sincerely hope your child will participate. Please feel free to share this with any other families of children with cancer you may know.

Please consider helping this student... If your child/children are between 12-17 years old, never had cancer themselves, but had a sibling diagnosed with cancer as a child, you can help this doctoral student at Widener University conducting a research study about brothers and sisters of kids with cancer.
