I hope everyone had an enjoyable Independence Day holiday weekend.
I’d like to ask for your prayers for a few kids tonight. The first is Jimmy McKeon. Jimmy is a really neat kid that we met last year at A.I. duPont Hospital. Jimmy has bravely battled a brain tumor and is having scans done right now and tomorrow evening. His family will get the results on Wed. Jimmy is a super kid, loves sports, and is a big Derek Jeter fan. Please pray for great results.
Another great kid (yes, there are so many) is Felicia Frugoli. Please visit her site and send some good wishes her way. What a cute little girl…and so brave! http://caringbridge.org/visit/felicia
Finally, my girl Ali has an internship this summer in a pediatric cancer research lab! Ali loves science and is really enjoying herself. Yes, I’m more than a little biased, but I think she is so remarkable. To go in the vicinity of the place that we “lived” for 167 straight days and where Andrew battled, is just amazing. Ali ran into one of our HERO friends today - Joey Borowski - a young man battling ALL.
Please also keep us in your prayers as we approach the one year mark (July 14th) since our hero went to Heaven. We miss him so much. Nothing is the same. Andrew, we LOVE you SO much!!!
Live Like Andrew - show affection.
