I’m not going to badger you about tomorrow’s 5k in this update.  :)   We’re really busy getting things ready and it’s going to be a great night.  We are so overwhelmed and humbled by the great outpouring of support.  I know the teams aren’t in this for the prizes - we know what the ultimate prize is in this war against cancer - but I’d like to share the winners of our fun little contests.

Today, I would like to ask for your prayers for 3 families.

First, tomorrow night, my nephew (Bob McDonough) will leave Germany for Afghanistan.  Bob is a recently promoted Captain in the US Army, a Blackhawk helicopter pilot, and will be attached to the 82nd Airborne for the next year. 

Secondly, please, please keep the Gricol family in your prayers.  Their 23 year old daughter, Julie, left this world last week in tremendously tragic circumstances.  Chris, Ali, & I had the true pleasure of meeting Julie on just one occasion, but that interaction stayed with us. 

Thirdly, please keep the family of Nick Zerhusen in your prayers.
