Mon. May 2nd
Saturday was a very busy day. Congratulations to B+ Hero, Pearce Quesenberry, and everyone at the Pearce Q Foundation for a very successful “4 Miles of Hope Run/Walk” last Saturday.
Also, my congratulations to Chris Grundner for another successful “Get Your Head in the Game” brain tumor awareness walk.
And, thank you to the Physician’s Assistants Program at 5 Philadelphia-area schools for selecting us as the beneficiary of their “PA Olympics”. Over the past few months, they’ve been doing fundraisers leading up to last Saturday’s “Olympics”. Chris and Ali represented OUR Foundation and received a very generous check of $3,100.
Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to attend any of these great events as I was in Chicago on Saturday working on some fundraising for our cause.

Featured Family of the Week
I would like to introduce you to our newest B+ Hero, Jake Trainor. Jake is a 12 yr old, Georgia boy who was diagnosed this past February with leukemia. The students at Georgia Southern University are very excited about “adopting” Jake. Depending upon how he’s feeling, we hope Jake will be able to join his college buddies this Friday at their dance marathon benefitting The B+ Foundation. Jake, I wish we didn’t know you because of these circumstances, but we are honored to have you as a B+ Hero and can’t wait to hear how the Georgia Southern students put you up on the pedestal. B+ Nation, please take a minute out of your day to leave a nice message for Jake on his CB page (see link below) and keep him in your prayers. Thanks.
