The other day, we posted on Facebook about an amazing young lady named Gabriella Miller.  You must take a minute to watch this powerful video from The Truth 365 if you haven’t seen it already.

Sadly, Gabriella passed away last Saturday night.

There is a second video, 4 minutes, in length, that you should watch.  I guarantee you it will be the most impactful 4 minutes of your day today.  Thank you to The Truth 365 for presenting Gabriella’s story to us.

This video was made 2 weeks before Gabriella went on Hospice.  No child should have to know the fears Gabriella speaks of.

Bone Marrow Success!!!

Within the past few weeks, exciting news has come from our friends at the University of Delaware.  Two Sigma Phi Epsilon brothers and a Chi Omega sister received news that they were a MATCH for someone in need!

Last week, Matt Heck donated 1 liter of bone marrow to a patient with Leukemia in Washington DC.  Matt joined the registry at a University of Delaware Football Team drive.

After receiving the call that he was a mouth swab match, Colin McMichael went for further testing and is awaiting the results.  Colin joined the registry at one of our UDance events!!!  Colin is the 6th person that is a match or match in process who signed up at a B+ Foundation-run drive!

Earlier this week, Alex Roenke donated stem cells.  She wants to encourage all who haven’t joined the Bone Marrow Registry to do so.  She wants you to know that it’s not painful or scary at all and you could potentially save a life.

Many, many thanks to Matt, Colin and Alex for their selflessness.
