Mon. Sept. 30th

What would you do if I told you that a TRAGEDY is going to happen this week. TWO classrooms of 25 American children WILL BE KILLED this week?! This is NOT a hypothetical. This is real.

Would you do anything to stop it?

If you don’t, TWO classrooms of kids will be killed next week also…and the week after…and the one after that as well. There would be congressional hearings! It would be…and should be…a front page story each week. It should be a national – and international – priority.

Innocent children are being killed…not by a person, but killed nonetheless. ?Childhood cancer is killing two classrooms full of kids A WEEK, in the United States alone.

Does it make their lives and losses any less valuable that it’s a disease, not a person, killing them? We don’t think so.Spread the word. September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month but this is something we should be talking about 365 days a year until it stops. Our kids deserve better!

B+ Golf Outing, Dinner, & Auction a HUGE Success

Thank you to everyone who helped make last Monday’s 7th Annual B+ Foundation Golf Outing, Dinner, & Auction such a huge success. You raised $120,000 to help us in our battle to eradicate childhood cancer.

Thank You, Astra Zeneca Cornerstone Group

Thank you to AZ’s Cornerstone Group who as adopted The B+ Foundation as their department charity. Last Wednesday, I had the privilege of stopping by their offices to receive a $6,000 donation from their latest fundraising efforts. Department fundraisers are a fun and easy way to help us help families of kids with cancer. Please contact me at Joe@LiveLikeAndrew.org if you’d like to get involved.

Featured Family of the Week

I’d like to introduce you to a VERY young B+ Hero, Jaxon. Jaxon celebrated his 3 MONTH birthday yesterday. Shortly after his birth, it was discovered that Jaxon had a sarcoma in his hand. He was diagnosed with embryonal rhabdomyosarcoma. Last Thursday, Jaxon had his left hand amputated. Jaxon now faces 42 weeks of chemotherapy. Jaxon is one of three children and he lives 90 minutes from the hospital. Mom lost her job as a bookkeeper due to the demands of caring for her son and Dad is an auto mechanic. The family earns $29,000 and faces mounting bills and are being threatened with eviction. Thanks to B+ Nation, we have been able to provide a small measure of assistance to Jaxon’s family. Please keep them in your prayers.

Closing Out “National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month”

As you know, in my opinion, Childhood Cancer Awareness Day should be every day of the year. But, September is National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and the month comes to an end today. To wrap up the month successfully, we have a special promotion at all 25 Seasons Pizza locations. As you know, customers have been prompted every day this month to give $1, $3, or $5 to The B+ Foundation when they visit or call in an order to Seasons Pizza. Today, a portion of the sale of all Large and XL pizzas sold will go to The B+ Foundation. So, if you’re in PA, DE, NJ, or MD, take the night off in the kitchen and order large pizzas from Seasons. Thanks for your support.

Make it a great week!  It’s up to you.

B+
