To all our friends:

In the spirit of Thanksgiving, please realize how thankful we are to all of you for your support. We appreciate you being there for us…in the good and difficult times.

As you celebrate Thanksgiving, however it may be, please take a minute to look around you and take 5 minutes, even, to just realize how lucky you are. If you can see what’s around you, be thankful. If you have food on the table, be thankful. If you’re with family, be thankful. Even though we don’t have Andrew here with us, physically, he’s with us. I realize that I am so lucky to have had 14 amazing years with our boy. I’m so thankful. Obviously I wish he was still here physically, but he’ll always be with us.

This Thanksgiving, please keep in your thoughts and prayers all the families who have had children go to Heaven before them, all the children around the world who are suffering, and their families.

I would also like to ask for prayers for Justin Hankins. Justin accidentally swallowed a thumb tack which required what one would imagine would be a somewhat routine endoscopy. Unfortunately, severe complications arose and Justin suffered an anoxic brain injury. It’s just hard to believe. Please visit Justin’s site and offer your support for Justin and his family. Thanks!
