I promised that I would include a picture of the 4-H gang spreading the word about “B+ Day on Concord Pike”. They did such a great job! Two more days until my buddy’s birthday. Remember to download the flyer from www.BePositive.org and bring it with you to the various stores on Thursday. That’s the only way that we’re going to get credit for the sales. But, the most important for me is to just see a ton of people on Concord Pike wearing the B+ shirts, hats, wristbands, etc. I’m sure Andrew is getting a kick out of this.

We had many talented and compassionate nurses at AI duPont Hospital, and one that left a lasting impression on us is Walle Gerdts. You only need to meet Walle once to know her. She is a one of a kind; I mean that as a great compliment. She treated Andrew as if he was her own son. It has come to my attention that Walle just received a prestigious award for nursing. I got the information second hand, so I’m not 100% sure what the award is called. Sorry. But, for those of you that work or “live” over at AI, make sure you congratulate Walle! You deserve it Walle!!!
