“Childhood Cancer Awareness Day“ Please wear gold!
Today is also the one anniversary since a young friend of ours, Savannah Pauley, went to Heaven. While I’m glad that Savannah is not in pain and that she IS in Heaven, it just makes me so mad that we don’t have the privilege of the presence of yet another beautiful, innocent child. To Carey, JP, JC and all of Savannah’s friends and family, Savannah’s glow will never fade and you all are in our prayers every day.
PLEASE take 3 minutes to watch this beautiful tribute to Savannah from close family friend, Sherry Vance. There aren’t enough superlatives to describe this little girl! Great job, Sherry.

And, if you’re local, please stop by “Savannah’s Store” — The Pink Turtle in Greenville (behind Janssen’s). The Pink Turtle is owned by Savannah’s Mom, Carey, and her friend, Christine Kendall. It’s a great store and there’s a special section dedicated to all things “SavannahStrong”. In honor of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, September proceeds from “SavannahStrong” merchandise is being generously donated to The B+ Foundation. We are tremendously honored.
Live Like Andrew & Savannah — be SAVANNAHSTRONG!

P.S. Congratulations to the Langseder family on a fun and tremendously successful, inaugural “Jack’s 5k” today in honor of their son who went to Heaven on Oct. 6, 2009.
