Year-End Planning

As we approach year-end, I've had a few B+ supporters ask me about donating stocks to help us fight childhood cancer and avoid a tax bite from Uncle Sam.  For many, it has been a very good year on Wall St. and this can be a great 'win-win'.

The B+ Foundation appreciates any and all donations and, yes, we do gratefully accept donations of stocks as well.

If you're interested in making a donation of stock, please contact me (Joe@LiveLikeAndrew.org) or Gail Carlucci at gcarlucci@delcf.org.

Diamond State Classic

Now, to a different kind of year-end planning.  How about joining us from Dec. 27-30th for some of the best girls high school basketball around.  The Diamond State Classic attracts schools from CA, NY, TN...all over the country.  The tournament is held at St. Elizabeth HS in Wilmington, DE and The B+ Foundation is the primary beneficiary of this tournament.  Thank you to the tournament organizers, IAABO Board #11, for including us as your partner.  Join us for Opening Ceremonies at 5pm on Dec. 27th when the B+ Heroes (kids with cancer) are introduced and paired with their respective teams in the St. Francis Healthcare bracket.  For more information, please visit:

Wilmington Classic

The battle for ice hockey supremacy and some serious bragging rights will be on the line on Sat. Jan. 3rd at 6:00pm for the 3rd Annual Wilmington Classic between the Wilmington Fire Dept and the Wilmington Police Dept.  Since inception, the Wilmington Classic has benefited The B+ Foundation and our fight against childhood cancer.  The firefighters and police do an outstanding job not only raising money and awareness for us but also for making our B+ Heroes feel special at the game.  This is one of my favorite events of the year and you might want to order your tickets now because every year is a virtual sell-out.  Tickets are only $5.  For more information, please contact Griff Jordan at WilmingtonClassic@yahoo.com or visit:
