Carly currently serves full-time as the Executive Director for The B+ Foundation. She first got involved with The B+ Foundation through her role as President of Alpha Epsilon Phi at The University of Delaware. She had the idea to bring this group together after founding board member and friend, Rachel Zeiger, inspired her to keep young people involved in the fight against childhood cancer after college!

Jack is a playwright and screenwriter. He first became involved with The B+ Foundation through his fraternity at NYU, Zeta Beta Tau, and continues his involvement in honor of ZBT's hero, Christian Velez-Guzman. Jack is currently a Staff Writer for CBS's Blue Bloods.

Melissa graduated from NYU in May of 2018 and is now a project coordinator at NYU Langone. She first became involved with The B+ Foundation through her sorority, Alpha Sigma Tau, in 2014 and her love of the B+ mission remains strong. So whether she is running a half marathon with B+, or serving as a Hero Liaison, her why will always be “for the kids!”

Mike graduated from Villanova University in 2015. He helped organize the inaugural NOVAdance at Villanova in 2014 after meeting Joe McDonough the year earlier. Mike eagerly joined the board and was excited by the opportunity to be involved. He currently works at Cerberus Capital Management in New York.

Alyssa graduated from NYU in 2016 and New York Law School in 2019. She became involved with The B+ Foundation in 2012 when her sorority, Alpha Epsilon Phi, adopted NYU’s first B+ Hero. Alyssa is currently finishing her last semester of law school and working at the NBA.

Jonathan works as a staff accountant in Midtown Manhattan. He graduated from the University of Delaware in 2018, was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon, and played an integral role in adopting their first B+ Hero.

Sarah first got involved with B+ at NYU where she helped co-found the school's first dance marathon, NYDM, to benefit the foundation. In addition to her roles with NYDM and the BePosNYC committee, Sarah runs with the B+ Running Team each year which coincides with her professional job as Marketing Manager for Men’s Health.

Barry Herbst works in real estate and emerging restaurants in New York City. He is recently married!

Dana is a speech pathologist here in New York City. She first became involved with B+ during her time at NYU. Dana is a lifelong New Yorker!

Cali graduated from NYU in May 2019 and is now a preschool teacher! She first became involved with the Andrew McDonough B+ Foundation through Delta Phi Epsilon’s participation in New York Dance Marathon. She has served as a B+ Hero Liaison for DPhiE and Morale Chair and Community Engagement Director for NYDM Executive Board.

Annie has been involved with B+ since 2007, when the Foundation was formed in Andrew McDonough’s honor. Annie graduated from Colgate University in 2017 and now covers technology and policy as a reporter for City & State Magazine.

Dan Nuzie works for MetLife. He is a graduate of the University of Delaware and a member of Sigma Chi.

Laura graduated from NYU in 2015. She became involved with The B+ Foundation in 2013 when her sorority, Pi Beta Phi, adopted Daniela as their B+ Hero. Laura attended the first NYDM that year, and has been dancing ever since. She was the Co-Executive Director of NYDM in 2014. 2022 will mark her 9th year participating. Laura currently works for Amazon Ads and lives in Summit, NJ with her husband Eric and their golden retriever, Lucky.

Rachel graduated from the University of Delaware in 2013. She first got involved with The B+ Foundation at UD through UDance and Alpha Epsilon Phi. Rachel has served on the board since it’s inception. She currently works for L’Oreal and oversees social media and digital strategy for two professional haircare brands.
