The Young Professionals NYC Chapter of The B+ Foundation®
Who We Are
The Young Professionals NYC Chapter of The B+ Foundation was founded in 2013 with a goal of supporting the mission of The B+ Foundation in the New York metro area. We are committed to bringing young people together to further raise awareness and money to fund critical childhood cancer research and assist families of kids with cancer nationwide. We do this by:
Did you know less than 4% of the National Cancer Institute’s annual cancer research budget is allocated to childhood cancer research? Our goal is to share the stories that inspire change.
Our goal is to “Live Like Andrew” – have fun, set goals and try our best, show affection, and be comfortable with ourselves.
Meet The Team
The NYC Chapter of The B+ Foundation is comprised of young professionals volunteering their time and talent to The B+ Foundation. The group was started when like-minded individuals who had passion and a desire to fight childhood cancer joined together to help the kids. Carly currently serves full-time as The Program Director for The B+ Foundation. She first got involved with The B+ Foundation through her role as President of Alpha Epsilon Phi at The University of Delaware. She had the idea to bring this group together after founding board member and friend, Rachel Zeiger, inspired her to keep young people involved in the fight against childhood cancer after college!

Sarah first got involved with B+ at NYU where she helped co-found the school's first dance marathon, NYDM, to benefit the foundation. In addition to her roles with NYDM and the BePosNYC committee, Sarah runs with the B+ Running Team each year which coincides with her professional job as Marketing Manager for Men’s Health.
