Who We Are
Our Mission
The Philly Young Professionals Chapter of The B+ Foundation was founded in 2018 with the goal of supporting the mission of The B+ Foundation in the Philadelphia metro area. BePosPhilly is committed to bringing young people together to further raise awareness and money to fund critical childhood cancer research and assist families of kids with cancer nationwide. How We Do It
We fulfill our mission through storytelling, special events, and spreading the B+ message:
Storytelling
Did you know less than 4% of the National Cancer Institute’s annual cancer research budget is allocated to childhood cancer research? Our goal is to share the stories that inspire change.
Events
Our goal for events is to engage, educate, and – most importantly – have a great time.
Positivity
Our goal is to “Live Like Andrew” – have fun, set goals and try our best, show affection, and be comfortable with ourselves.

Hugh McLaughlin
Hugh currently serves full-time as a Program Manager for The B+ Foundation. He graduated from Elizabethtown College and enjoys surfing and snowboarding in his free time.

Rebecca Byrnes
Rebecca graduated from the University of Delaware in 2018 where she first became involved with B+ through UDance. She is a CPA and currently works for KPMG in Philadelphia specializing in the healthcare and life science industries.

Allison Worms
Allison is a 2020 graduate of University of Delaware where she kicked off her B+ involvement in UDance. Allison served her first two years on the UDance Executive Board managing event operations and served as Co-Executive Director in her final year. She now works and lives in Philly and plans to continue her involvement in B+ through the Philly chapter!
