AmazonSmile Ends
AmazonSmile Program Ends
I’m sad to report that Amazon has decided to end their AmazonSmile program. It was a great way to raise easy money for charities. I want to thank each and every one of you who designated The Andrew McDonough B+ Foundation as your charity beneficiary. The program will officially close on Feb. 23rd so there’s still time to raise a little money for the kids through your Amazon purchases. Thank you very much!

B+ Heroes
Since we’re coming up on the 16th anniversary of Andrew’s diagnosis in a few days, I thought I’d feature some older kids today. (I CANNOT believe it’s been 16 years!!!)
Please meet Jack & Oliver.
“THANK YOU BE POSITIVE! Our family is so grateful for your wonderful foundation! Jack was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma last August and started chemo this past December. The loss of income due to treatments and hospitalizations has been overwhelming. The gift you provided helped to pay for a month of rent and relieved a significant amount of stress from what we are currently experiencing. Having any amount of pressure lifted off of us right now is priceless.
The support you provide for families struggling with the diagnosis of childhood cancer means so much! Knowing that B+ is so willing to support us is an incredible feeling and we just cannot thank you enough!!! Keep up the wonderful work!!!!!
With Love,
Jack’s Family”

The B+ talks and travel are really starting to heat up. I’d like to thank the Charter School of Wilmington, Appoquinimink HS, North Star Elementary School, & the University of Delaware for allowing me to visit and share Andrew’s story and the stories of all of our brave kids. In the next few weeks, I will be speaking in Los Angeles twice, New York, as well as heading to Brussels for a B+ Foundation-supported international childhood cancer research conference. Thank you, also, to Martin Honda for including us in their holiday campaign whereby their customers got a chance to choose us for a donation for each car sold in December.
