Back to The Bob

UDance 2022

After being kept out of The Bob Carpenter Center for 2 years because of COVID, UDance 2022 returned on April 24th and they returned in great style. The basketball arena was transformed and literally thousands of UD students spent 12 hours having fun and honoring our B+ Heroes. I’m so proud of my fellow Blue Hens. And, oh by the way, they raised a little bit of money too.

New York City B+ Chapter Celebrates in DUMBO

I am so excited that we have a Young Professionals Chapter in NYC. These are young people who either worked with us on their campuses in college or who found the cause through their friends. After 3 years of planning, the annual gala was back in a cool spot in the trendy neighborhood of DUMBO in Brooklyn. As always, it was a sold out event.

A Family Assistance Record!

I can say with confidence that no organization in the world gave out more money to families of kids with cancer than we did this week. I just signed 162 checks for $205,921 and this was for JUST ONE WEEK!!! Thank you to donors from The Change Reaction and all of our supporters for helping our families. Amongst the many critical needs from this week were the purchase of a prosthetic for one child, hearing aids for a young man with a brain tumor, and assistance to a family with not one, but two children battling cancer.

Make the most of your weekend. Count your blessings.
