Starboard Black Tag & B+ 5k

Thanks to Aaron Dunphy from LowDigittag.com and Monty & Toastie from The Starboard restaurant in Dewey Beach, Delaware, we held our 10th Annual Starboard VIP Black Tag auction for The B+ Foundation. Twenty-two auction winners received a special VIP tag that allows them to jump the line at this super-popular bar and restaurant. It’s such a neat concept and something that’s translatable across the country…if we have a local champion (like Aaron) in the particular city. This year, each tag sold for an average of about $4,000 and we netted $83,000 on the souvenir tags and an additional $12,000 for a legitimate 4 digit Delaware license plate. All in, the guys raised an incredible $98,194!!!

16th Annual B+ 5k

There’s still time to register for our upcoming B+ 5k run/walk on June 8th at Salesianum School. Walk-up registration will begin at 5:00pm and the horn will sound at 6:45pm. Don’t wait, though…register yourself or your team now. Spread the word. There will be all kinds of free food - Grotto pizza, Johnnie’s Dog House hot dogs, Chick-fil-A sandwiches, soft pretzels, produce from Marinis, snacks from Frito-Lay and so much more. It will be a blast. Register right here, right now. Thanks.

Personal Note:

People who know me well know that I’m ‘on’ all the time. I love talking about The B+ Foundation, Ali, and Andrew to anyone I meet. And, yeah, I’m not shy about talking to strangers. I see it as a way to also spread the message of the B+ Nation and grow the community.

Last week, I ended up in the hospital for the week, and I met a lot of amazing people who may be reading this as new Ambassadors of B+ Nation. So, I want to take this opportunity to publicly thank them. To the nurses and doctors at St. Francis Hospital in the Emergency Department, the Intensive Care Unit, and the step-down unit on the 4th floor, thank you so much for taking such good care of me. Your compassion and kindness are much appreciated.

Make it a great weekend, everyone.
