I would like to introduce you to a brave young man, Brett Land, who is battling leukemia (ALL) at A.I. DuPont Hospital in Wilmington.  Check out the cute photo of this little guy on his Caringbridge homepage.   Please take a minute to visit his site and leave a message of B+ support for he and his family.  You don't know how much your prayers and support will mean.

A question was posed on CB regarding whether you can vote multiple times for us in the Citgo contest and the answer is YES...you can vote for us every day.

As you know, Ali and her fellow students at the University of Delaware raise money for The B+ Foundation through their super-successful (and FUN) "UDance 2011" - a 12 hour dance marathon to be held on March 13, 2011.  UDance, the largest student-run philanthropy is in the midst of a holiday fund-raising campaign right now to try to get to $80,000 by Dec. 31st.  If they can accomplish this, I think they'll be well on their way to their $200,000 goal by March 13th.  If you'd like to support Ali in this effort, please visit her link below.

"Featured Family of the Week"

This week's Featured Family is from Washington state.  B+ Hero, Erick, is only 2 1/2 years old.  On November 4, 2010, he was in a car accident which claimed the life of his Mother.  While being treated for multiple broken bones, a CT scan revealed that Erick has neuroblastoma, a malignant tumor that develops from nerve tissues.  Erick has a long and painful road ahead of him.  Thanks to your generosity, The B+ Foundation is assisting the family at this difficult and challenging time.
