Please join me in praying for Ja'Vion's family as they mourn their little boy's passing earlier this week. Ja'Vion was a 4yr old boy from PA that The B+ Foundation assisted.

On a happier note, The New Candlelight Theatre in Arden, DE hosted "B+ Night" this past Thursday evening. We enjoyed a fantastic production of "Seussical the Musical" and B+ Heroes Pearce, Aryn, and Alex were introduced and presented with gifts, including a personalized 'Cat in the Hat' cake. (See picture of Aryn!) The show runs through Dec. 22nd with very limited seating remaining. If you're interested in seeing a great holiday show, please visit the link below. A portion of every ticket sold benefits The B+ Foundation if you mention B+ when calling or "BPositive" for online orders.

For those of you who will be in the Wilmington area between Christmas and New Year's, please stop by St. Elizabeth's HS for the Diamond State Classic girls high school basketball tournament. This premier tournament attracts teams from all over the country. The B+ Foundation is one of the beneficiaries of the tournament and we have paired 8 B+ Heroes with teams from around the country. The B+ Heroes will be sitting on the bench, joining the teams in the locker room, and other cool stuff. We have two very special B+ Heroes who will be our guest speakers at Opening Ceremonies at 5:45pm on Mon. Dec. 27th. The tournament runs from Mon 12/27 through Thurs. 12/30. Hope to see you there. We'll be selling B+ gear for the first two days of the tournament. P.S. We have some new navy blue/gold lettering hoodies!!!

"Featured Family of the Week"
Shania was 5 years old when diagnosed with stage 2 Wilm's Tumor in 2005. She was treated and relapsed in 2006. This little girl then underwent TWO years of treatment only to learn that she was then diagnosed with AML (leukemia -- what Andrew had). She was admitted for her most recent hospitalization in August, 2010 and, sadly, Shania passed away two weeks ago. Shania is one of three children and her family lived at the local Ronald McDonald House. Like many of our B+ Hero families, Shania's family is facing significant financial hardship and YOUR Foundation has come to their aid. Unfortunately, we couldn't do more for Shania. May God bless Shania's family.

Live Like Andrew - don't complain...one of the few things that you can control is your attitude.

P.S. I gave you an incorrect URL for Ali's UDance fundraising page the other day. Sorry. Here's the correct one if you're interested in supporting the UD dance marathon to fight childhood cancer.
