Fight Night for Childhood Cancer

B+ Hero Penelope

“I wanted to thank you and the B+ foundation for assisting our family and being such a huge and critical part of our journey. Cancer really does leave families a lot of obstacles in addition to the devastating disease and its management. Without B+ we would be struggling to provide a safe home for our kiddos this month. We can’t thank you enough!”

B+ Hero Colton

“Hello! My family and I want to extend a truly heartfelt thank you for the donations to the B+ foundation. I can’t even explain what it means to have a financial burden lifted in our current valley of life. Just a brief overview about our situation. Our son Colton was diagnosed with a cancerous brain tumor in 2020. After a year of chemo and radiation, he was deemed cancer free. However, this September, the same cancer returned as a tumor in his spine and it was deemed not treatable with a 5% survival rate. He is currently undergoing a clinical trial in Cincinnati with prayers to change this prognosis. We make a 400 mile round trip once a week for his treatments. Colton has 3 other siblings that we are also taking care of during this time. With so much uncertainty and all the extra expenses of travel, YOUR DONATIONS ARE A BLESSING! This grant was a Godsend at the right time. Right around the time of receiving it, our only vehicle for our family of 6, stopped working. We were having to rent and borrow vehicles to travel. To not have to worry about a mortgage payment this month, we were able to use that to put a down payment on a reliable used car. The money was able to help our situation in ways you couldn’t have imagined and it lifts such a weight off when the weight of the world is on our shoulders already. Words cannot express our thanks to the B+ foundation and the amazing donors. But know our whole family is beyond grateful.

God Bless,

Sarah and Ed”

Fighting Childhood Cancer in the Ring

Thank you to the Sigma Chi fraternity at the University of Texas in Austin for including us, once again, as a charity beneficiary of “Fight Night”. Over the past decade, this event has raised a lot of money that has gone to our families of kids with cancer while also generating much-needed awareness that kids get cancer too. And, if you’re into rap, after I was in the ring, rap star Rich the Kid performed.

Make it a great week. Please keep our kids and their families in your prayers.

B+
