Fri. March 28th
On Wed. evening, thanks to Alex McIntyre, the Notre Dame Men's Club Soccer Team, and ND students, I was able to honor a promise to Andrew.
I am so pleased by the success and growth of The Andrew McDonough B+ Foundation on college, high school, and grade school campuses across the country. But, there are three that hold special, personal meaning to me. I wanted to start a B+ event at Andrew's high school (Salesianum), 'our' University (Univ. of Delaware) and the college that Andrew wanted to attend and play soccer (Notre Dame).
Wednesday night, I stepped on stage in the LaFortune Ballroom at Notre Dame and wore the ND soccer jersey that Coach Bobby Clarke sent Andrew when we were in the hospital. It was only the third time that I ever wore Andrew's ND gift jersey.
The students held a "Gentlemen Auction" which was a LOT of fun. They did a great job raising money and awareness for The B+ Foundation and our fight against childhood cancer. We think this will become another of the many great Notre Dame traditions.
We are so appreciative of ALL of the kids from elementary schools to colleges, from Delaware to Washington state who have embraced the B+ message and our cause. Thank you all so much!
This weekend, there will be B+ events at St. George's Technical HS in Delaware and Barnegat H.S. at the Jersey Shore.
Final Weekend!
This is the final weekend to get a great Honda from Martin Honda in Newark, DE while helping The B+ Foundation. EVERY new car sold equals $100 to help us fight childhood cancer. Martin Honda will even be opening their doors this Sunday. Stop by and tell them 'thank you' and buy a beautiful new Honda.
Thank you to the Real Charitable Housewives of Delaware for hosting their 3rd annual "Mom Prom" last weekend, benefitting The B+ Foundation.
Live Like Andrew.
