Give Kids a Voice
Give Kids a Voice!
As you've heard recently in the news, the Executive Branch of our government has embarked on a "moonshot" project to cure cancer. Thankfully, the White House memo that was released this week includes pediatric cancer in this project. The "moonshot" project is being led by our fellow Delawarean, and friend of The Andrew McDonough B+ Foundation, Vice President Joe Biden.
Today, I invite you to join us as we advocate the Legislative Branch with this year's Childhood Cancer Action Days, sponsored by the Alliance for Childhood Cancer, of which we are a member. We invite B+ Nation, whether you have a personal story with childhood cancer or just believe that kids shouldn't get cancer, to join us in DC as we visit elected officials and their staffs.
The Details
Monday, May 16th: Issues and Advocacy Training at the Holiday Inn on Capitol Hill;
Tuesday, May 17th: Kick-Off and pre-arranged meetings with Members of Congress and their staff;
Registration will open in February. A registration fee of $50 per family will help cover expenses, including breakfast and lunch on training day for all attendees. A limited number of scholarships will be available. Transportation to/from Childhood Cancer Action Days is the responsibility of those attending.

As you buy your Valentine's Day gift for your special someone on Amazon, PLEASE remember to use AmazonSmile and check off The B+ Foundation and Amazon will donate back to us a percentage of your total purchase volume. We don't know what our supporters buy, we just get a nice check every quarter. And, there's virtually nothing you have to do on your end after your initial registration and selection of The Andrew McDonough B+ Foundation.
