WOW!!!
Today, 13 yr old B+ Hero, Sammy Bradly, hosted a bone marrow registration drive for his B+ Hero “brother”, Noxah Palomo. The drive ran from 9am-6pm at the Flanigan Center in Newtown Square, PA. You’re not going to believe this —- Sammy, his family, and friends, signed up 289 people to the bone marrow registry!!! We were very honored to be included in today’s activities and to have played a small part. This is the largest number of people registered at any drive that we have been involved in. Congratulations, also, to Noxah’s aunt for registering 25 people at St. Paul’s Church in Wilmington yesterday. I have a really good feeling about these 300+ new registrants. Maybe one is Noxah’s match, maybe one (or more) are a match for another child or adult somewhere in the world. Congratulations to the Bradly family (by blood and by love) who made today so successful!!!

There is still time to register online - as a team, an individual, or as a supporter from afar - for this Thursday’s “4th Annual B+ Fighting Childhood Cancer 5k Run/Walk”. There will be a ton of free food, the weather is going to be great, and we are going to honor “B+ Heroes” (children with cancer). I don’t think you’ll regret participating in this one….it just feels so right. Please don’t feel like you can’t participate just because you won’t be around or live far away. Feel free to support “Andrew’s Angels”. We need a good strong push this week to hit our goal. I hope you will consider sending emails to your friends & families to encourage their participation in some capacity. Give up one dinner out and invest that money in childhood cancer research. The kids need our help. Thanks for putting up with my pleas. Honestly, raising money is the least favorite part of my Foundation work, but without it, we can’t fund research and we can’t help families of critically ill children.
