Delaware Youth Soccer Association (DYSA) and Hockessin Soccer Club (HSC) have very generously decided that our Foundation and Kids Kickin’ Cancer (founded by Alicia & Brandon Lewandowski) will be beneficiaries of the upcoming “Kohl’s Cup” soccer tournament at HSC on Nov. 8-9. We greatly appreciate this support. Additionally, we will have a table at the tournament to sell “B+ Gear” so, if you have any free time, we would love to have some volunteers. With the constant barrage of political ads and discussions, we have all heard how this presidential election is going to be a historic one - regardless of which side wins. While I certainly understand what the commentators mean, isn’t every day ‘historic’? Don’t we have the potential to make every day ‘historic’? Have you made today ‘historic’? If not, when you wake up tomorrow, dedicate yourself to making it ‘historic’…in whatever that means to you.

I can’t wait to post pictures of “Andrew’s Bench” in Ocean City, NJ once the Public Works Dept folks install the plaque. Andrew and Ali loved playing miniature golf down there and loved monkeys & gorillas. Well, for those of you familiar with OCNJ, “Andrew’s Bench” is located right across from Congo Falls mini-golf (the one with the huge ape). The perfect location!
