Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital at St. Vincent’s Hospital
Prior to our B+ Racing Team’s race at the famed “Brickyard” (Indianapolis Motor Speedway) last week, we visited Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital in Indianapolis. It was a great opportunity for us to meet so many great kids and share a lot of smiles.
We also welcome a new sponsor to The B+ Foundation — SceneTap. SceneTap is a new company with a really cool app (free to download) which helps you decide which nightclubs/restaurants to visit. The app tells you how crowded the club is, the male/female split, age range, food/drink specials…all kinds of neat things. Please check it out at: http://www.scenetap.com/ SceneTap will be involved in the B+ Racing Program but also a whole lot more.

Jefferson Medical College
For the second year in a row, I had the privilege of speaking to 1st Year medical students yesterday during their Orientation Week at the Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia. I applaud Dr. Charlie Pohl and the leadership of Jefferson for seeing the value of introducing the Patient Family perspective into the medical school curriculum early and often. Good luck to all the students and always keep your eye on the prize — the health and well-being of the patient.

What an Honor!
I must share with you Ali’s posting from The B+ Foundation Facebook page.
We are continuously honored by B+ supporters who tell us they’ve decided to name their children after Andrew and teens who have chosen Andrew (and Andrea for the girls) as their confirmation names. Dianna from Louisiana and her husband are expecting their baby next week and they’ve decided to name him Andrew in honor of our Andrew! How cool is that? Our Andrew’s memory definitely continues to live on.
I don’t know what to say, but THANK YOU! This isn’t the first family who has informed us that they chosen to name their child after Andrew – and Ali. We are tremendously flattered.

Speaking Engagements
If you think your company or organization could benefit from learning about Andrew’s story, the B+ Message, and/or The B+ Foundation’s battle against childhood cancers, please feel free to reach out to me at Joe@LiveLikeAndrew.org. I have given, literally, several hundred talks to groups of all ages. I’m not saying that I’m terribly interesting, but I do think we have a compelling story to share. My hope is that people can gain the “Live Like Andrew” attitude and lifestyle and our perspective on life without having to go down this terrible path to learn it. The offer is there…
