What a day!

On Sunday, the students of the University of Delaware came out for the 10th Annual "UDance" held at The Bob Carpenter Center.  By the time the day was over, approximately 6,000 students came through the arena to support the 2,500 "Dancers", "Moralers", and most especially, nearly 50 B+ Heroes - kids who are fighting or who have fought cancer.  Our B+ Heroes are paired with fraternities, sororities, sports teams, and student groups on campus.  The B+ Hero Talent Show and B+ Hero Hour, where all the kids came on stage, was a highlight of the day.

And, sadly, there were 3 amazing young people who were with us on stage last year at UDance but who have since passed away.  We honored B+ Heroes, Steph Bader, Taylor Helland, and Leon Huhn.

There were a lot goose bumps, chills, and tears shed as the total was revealed -  $1,701,667.81!!!

So many lives of families of kids with cancer will be affected as we will be able to lessen the financial burden on them.  And, we will be able to fund even more exciting, cutting-edge childhood cancer research.  LIVES WILL BE SAVED!

Thank you, Blue Hens.  I am SO proud of you and appreciative of what you've done for our kids!

B+
