Here’s a nice note for you from Cris’ Mom. It means so much to our families to know that people out there care about them. I know how much it lifted us up when we were in the hospital for 167 days with Andrew.
“I am so sorry about your son, I send you a hug, I ask God for a miracle for my Son and that this transplant be a new light of hope for him to recover his health, we have been fighting this terrible disease for 5 years, I hope in the future this will only be a bad memory! I will send you a video and a photo of Cris, for us his help and that of the people who help is very valuable and we know that in the world there are very good people who still have a generous heart! God bless you.”
B+ Club at the University of Alabama
Led by Greek Life at the University of Alabama, our student partners in the B+ Club of the University of Alabama raised $234,369.50 in just the 8th year of their event. This year’s fundraising crushed the previous record. This is becoming one of the largest philanthropic events on campus in Tuscaloosa. Thank you and ROLL TIDE!
NYC Cocktail Party
Tonight in Brooklyn, 300+ young professionals will gather to have fun and raise money for The Andrew McDonough B+ Foundation and our fight against childhood cancers. Many of these young people were involved with us on their campuses at various schools around the country as students. To their credit, they want to continue to help us…and they bring their friends out to widen the net. The more ‘ambassadors’, the better. One of the raffle prizes tonight will be a pair of tickets to see Taylor Swift!!!
