Missing My Boy!
Ten years ago today, the world lost the brightest of stars and I lost one of my best friends, my flesh and blood, and part of who I am. On the morning of July 14, 2007, my son, Andrew John McDonough, was alive and we still had hope; albeit small.
10 Years. A Decade Without My Brother.

From DC to Hollywood!
As part of our membership and participation in the Alliance for Childhood Cancer, The B+ Foundation headed to Washington, DC earlier this week to harness the passion and energy of childhood cancer advocates as we lobbied for increased funding for childhood cancer research and related drug development.
Awards, Events, & Andrew!
While spending so much time fighting childhood cancer can be pretty sad and emotionally draining, there are also some really inspiring moments as well. Of course, spending time with the B+ Heroes always reminds me of their tremendous courage.
Cuba, STAR, and Babies!
I LOVE hearing about B+ sightings all over the globe. The latest story I heard came from a chance encounter on the streets of Havana, Cuba.
"Henry's Letter", Action Days, & B+ 5k
It was SO cool to receive the letter below from 6 year old, Henry Sullivan. Man, this is what it's all about. Little kids giving up their "share money" to help fight childhood cancer.
UDance 2017 Raises $1.9MM!!!
1 year of fundraising. 12 hours of dancing. Countless lives changed. On Sunday March 12th, University of Delaware students were on their feet for 12 hours, standing in solidarity with our B+ Heroes currently fighting cancer, our B+ Heroes surviving, and our B+ Heroes in Heaven.
UDance - NYC Party - Brave the Shave
Tomorrow is the biggest event of the year for The Andrew McDonough B+ Foundation -- UDance 2017! UDance, a 12 hour dance marathon, is the largest student-run philanthropy on campus and the 5th largest college dance marathon in the country.

10 years ago today, our lives changed forever. January 27, 2007, Andrew played 4 soccer games and helped his team win the state championship.
Parties, Dances, and Nathan!
What a way to ring in 2017! The B+ Jr. Board held their inaugural New Year's Eve party at the Delaware Center for Contemporary Arts on the Riverfront in Wilmington. There were about 150 people in attendance of all ages.
