Today, while it was tremendously sad, I had the honor of paying my respects to the Wilson family at Jeremy’s viewing. I truly feel blessed to have met Jeremy at A.I. duPont Hospital, but I wish I had never met him for this reason. Folks, there are just too many children battling cancer and other life-threatening diseases. I never thought that I would know so many children that have gone to Heaven at such young ages. Please, please pray for Jeremy’s parents and his two sisters. May they find strength in Jeremy’s spirit.

I’ve learned of another young lady who needs your prayers and support. Her name is Hanna Sheppard and in mid-August, she dove into a swimming pool and broke her C-5 vertebrae. If you would like to send her a nice B+ message for her as she begins a long and difficult rehabilitation, you can post on her site –http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/hannasheppard.
Additionally, some friends of Hanna’s are running a fundraiser whereby they raise money for reviews that you write about businesses. For more information, please visit: http://www.insiderpages.com/fundraisers/Help-for-Hanna.

Thank you, so much, for your generosity. I know times are tough right now with the economy, but, unfortunately, that doesn’t stop these dreaded diseases from attacking our kids.
