This has nothing to do with childhood cancer tonight, but equally tragic.

I was stunned to receive news tonight that a friend of Andrew’s from soccer was killed in a car accident today.  This young lady was only 16 years old and she and her friend were both killed today in Delaware.  It seemed like I could always count on seeing Amy whenever I was at Kirkwood Soccer Club.  Amy would always come up to me and spend time just talking about Andrew, soccer, and other stuff going on.  She was a really vivacious and respectful young lady.  Amy is going to be missed.  Amy, you won’t be forgotten.  Andrew, please take good care of Amy and show her around up there.  My prayers go out to Amy’s family and friends.
